Intellectual property

This entire website — its structure, graphic design, source code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), text, images, illustrations and organisation — is the exclusive property of the publisher (Johanna) and its designer (thewebfab.net), and is protected by French and international intellectual-property law, particularly the French Intellectual Property Code.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation, translation, retransmission, publication or exploitation — in full or in part, by any process and on any medium (paper, digital or otherwise) — is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the publisher and designer.

Any breach of these provisions may lead to legal proceedings under Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code and expose the perpetrator to civil and criminal penalties (up to three years’ imprisonment and a €300,000 fine for infringement).

The website is protected by a timestamped deposit; its pages are signed and traceable in the event of unauthorised copying.

Liability

The information published on this website (including prices and availability) is indicative. The final terms of any pet-care arrangement are confirmed directly with Johanna during the initial contact. The publisher cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies or omissions, or for damage related to the use of this website.

Personal data & cookies

This website complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and the French Informatique et Libertés law. It sets no advertising cookies, contains no third-party analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.) and shares no data with advertisers.

1. Contact form

When you use the contact form, the following information is sent by email to Johanna:

• Name, email address, phone number (if provided) and message content,
• Date and time sent, IP address and browser (for spam and fraud prevention).

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Retention period: no more than 12 months after the last exchange, unless the relationship continues (quote, pet care). Recipient: Johanna. The message is sent to the Gmail address published on this website; Google therefore acts as an email service provider and may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.

2. Published reviews

When you submit a review, your first name, town or village if supplied, rating, title, review text and type of pet are recorded. Your IP address is retained to prevent abuse. The review only becomes public after moderation by Johanna.

Once approved, the review title and text may be sent to Groq to create the English version automatically. The first-name, town and IP-address fields are not sent to the translation service. Legal basis: consent to publication of the review and legitimate interests in making public content available in both languages. Retention period: until the review is withdrawn or you ask for it to be erased.

3. Audience statistics (internal)

To measure website traffic and detect abuse, visits are recorded in an internal database:

• Page viewed, referring page, date/time,
• IP address, country (detected via Cloudflare), device type, browser, operating system,
• Daily anonymous identifier (SHA-256 fingerprint of IP+browser+day) to count unique visitors without identifying them beyond one day.

Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — internal audience measurement and website security. Retention period: no more than 13 months. Recipient: Johanna only (access via a protected admin area). No data is sold or shared.

4. Cookies

No cookie is set simply by visiting the website. A single technical cookie (cci_admin) is created when signing in to the admin area (reserved for Johanna): it contains only a signed session identifier, expires automatically and is deleted when signing out.

5. Third-party services used by the website

• Cloudflare (United States / EU) — anti-DDoS protection and CDN. Sees the visitor’s IP address. Privacy policy.
• Google (Gmail) — receives and stores messages sent to Johanna. It may process email content and associated metadata. Privacy policy.
• Groq (United States) — automatically translates public text changed in the admin area and the text of approved reviews into English. Contact-form messages are never sent to it. Groq states that inference data is not retained by default, subject to possible temporary logging for up to 30 days for reliability and abuse prevention. Data-processing information.
• Hetzner (Germany) — website host; sees IP addresses in its server logs.

6. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact the publisher by phone (+33 6 07 83 41 54) or email (ccietvous@gmail.com). You will receive a response within 30 days.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data-protection authority): cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.
